Parts and  Service Warranty

1.   CIGNUS warrants its Portable Radios against defects in material and                               workmanship caused by normal use as provided below:

•  Parts warranty for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase

•  Lifetime Service Warranty

1.2  CIGNUS Radios Two (2) Watts and under shall only be covered by one (1) year               Service Warranty.

1.3  CIGNUS WARRANTY shall not cover products provided below:

• Defects and damage from use of the product other than its normal and customary use;

• Defects or damage from misuse, power surge, improper handling, liquid contact or fire

• Cosmetic damage (such as scratches, dents, broken plastic etc.)

• Malfunction caused by using the device with non-compatible products

• Defects or damage from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, alteration, modification, or adjustment by unauthorized personnel.

• Damage or malfunction caused by attempts to open, modify and repair, either by a user or by a service provider not accredited by CIGNUS.

• Damage or malfunction caused by failure to use as described in the associated CIGNUS User Guide.

• Defects or damages caused by force majeure and acts of God such as but no limited to earthquake, flood, calamities, and other analogous circumstances.
